If you are a sushi lover on the lookout for a new restaurant then this blog post is for you. Nuri Sushi can be found in Seapoint, CBD Town, Claremont, and Stellenbosch, perhaps there is a reason why this sushi restaurant has found a fan base all over Cape Town.
DID SOMEONE SAY GOURMET SUSHI?
Nuri Sushi has some of the yummiest and freshest gourmet sushi, a few to name: volcano (tempura fried salmon futomaki stacked and layered with spicy mayo, nuri-yaki sauce topped with tempura crumbs and spring onions), rock shrimp roll (spicy tuna california roll, topped with spicy deep fried rock shrimp nuggets, sprinkled with chives and sesame seeds), firecracker (tuna, spring onion, cream cheese, jalapeno california roll coated in Japanese 7-spice dressed with wasabi mayo), etc. Nuri Sushi also offers classic sushi (maki, california rolls, sashimi, salmon roses, handrolls, etc), poke bowls, salads and seafood.
Upon visiting Nuri Sushi myself, I ordered the classic avo maki, salmon california rolls, salmon crunch (salmon, cream cheese, rolled tempura with Japanese mayo and sweet chilli sauce), salmon fashion sandwiches, rainbow reloaded rolls, and spicy calamari tempura rolls (tempura calamari and avo california roll topped with creamy spicy calamari and nuri-yaki sauce).
FOUND MY NEW GO-TO SUSHI RESTAURANT
I was absolutely blown away with how Nuri Sushi presented itself on the plate as well as how delicious their sushi tasted! As I consider myself a big sushi lover, I was ecstatic that I found a new go-to restaurant!
Nuri Sushi is a place not only for a bite of sushi, but to sit down and enjoy the company of friends and family whilst allowing your taste buds to be satisfied.
